Autumn is in the air, and at the Central Rappahannock Regional Library’s downtown branch. This month, Penny A. Parrish’s exhibit, “Autumn in the Atrium,” features fall scenes both locally and from the photographer’s travels.

“Autumn has always been one of my favorite seasons. The colors show Mother Nature in all her glory. As I enter my own ‘autumn’ years, the season takes on another meaning: Savor life, travel more, create experiences, read more books and treasure friends (two and four-legged),” according to the artist. “Colors in Virginia are just around the corner. I hope this exhibit inspires you to take time for yourself and soak in the beauty around us.”

The exhibit can be viewed through Sept. 29.
