Trisha Paytas and her husband Moses Hacmon have welcomed their first child, a daughter named Malibu Barbie.

The YouTuber made the announcement in an Instagram post and shared several pictures of the newborn with her 740,000 followers.

Trisha, who married Moses in December 2021, made the pregnancy announcement on Valentine’s Day this year with a post of her scan and a video of her ultrasound appointment.

The social media star announced the arrival of her baby girl on TikTok and Twitter as well.

On Thursday (September 15, 2022), Trisha Paytas took to Instagram to announce the birth of her baby girl alongside several pictures of the newborn.

“She has arrived,” the YouTuber captioned the Instagram post. “Meet our daughter, Malibu Barbie Paytas-Hacmon.”

The 34-year-old online personality posted several snaps with her daughter, including one of their matching strawberry-printed outfits and another one showing Moses next to them.

Trisha also shared a string of pictures on her Instagram Stories, including one of Malibu Barbie’s hospital record with her full name.

Fellow social media stars congratulated the couple on their exciting news.

“She’s adorable! Congrats mama and papa!” Lisa Schwartz added.

Trisha and Moses’ name for their baby, Malibu Barbie, is actually the name of a Barbie doll which made a debut back in 1971.

Representing the classic ‘California girl look’, the doll was an instant hit with fans and was one of the most popular dolls in the ’70s.

The original Malibu Barbie consisted of a Barbie doll with a colourful swimsuit, a matching towel and sunglasses.

Other variations of the Malibu Barbie doll included the The Beach Party Malibu Barbie (1980) and the Sun Gold Malibu Barbie (1984).

Given the name of Trisha and Moses’ baby girl, the Malibu Barbie doll continue to make waves 50 years later after her first appearance.

Trisha’s pregnancy came as a surprise to her and her followers after the YouTuber opened up about infertility on social media.

Announcing her pregnancy in a YouTube video, Trisha said: “I’m in disbelief in so many ways but at the same time it just feels right. All of a sudden I just feel a sense of purpose.”

The YouTuber added: “I just visualized being pregnant in the year 2022 and I feel so blessed and so chosen. And I’ve always said this in all my videos: that if you’re lucky enough to be blessed with children in any way, you are so blessed.”
